About Me

tressa porterI love this work and enjoy empowering people, just like you, to understand their inner world and learn how to navigate it. I watch people learn to take on the most intense internal storms and actually enjoy the challenge and come through the other side.

I have overcome some significant storms in my life, many of which capsized my ship or caught me in the riptide.  All of those experiences taught me, actually forced me, to grow and forced me to live with greater freedom and empowerment. And now I am hooked. I love discovering new ways to increase my internal sailing skills and to recover quicker when my ship sinks. It is a constant life long learning and fine tuning of skills.

I have a unique approach to helping you sort yourself out. Together we explore the past and present to understand what is going on from the inside out. This is balanced by incorporating cutting edge techniques that can empower you to make significant changes and increase your empowerment and agency in life.  I draw from the exciting and pioneering work in neuroscience that has proven how using simple concrete skills that are easy to learn, coupled with growing inner awareness, people can revolutionize their own lives.
